Dayeh Logistics
Pioneer of Energy and Goods Transit in West Asia
Dayeh Logistics, a subsidiary of Holding Dayeh, launched its operations in 2009 in partnership with Iraq’s Ghiwal Group. Starting with 150 fuel tanker trucks, the company rapidly scaled to managing up to 1,100 heavy-duty tanker trailers per day. The operation involved receiving mazut (fuel oil) from domestic refineries, transporting it to Imam Khomeini Port, and then delivering it across the border to Iraq.
Dayeh Logistics – Pioneer of Energy and Goods Transit in West Asia
This became the largest road-based fuel transit operation in the history of Iran and Iraq. At its peak, more than 30,000 individuals – drivers, assistants, mechanics, logistics and support staff – were directly and indirectly involved, moving hundreds of millions of liters of fuel daily across the region.
With the outbreak of the ISIS conflict and widespread insecurity in the Middle East, Holding Dayeh responsibly and proactively scaled back the operation for safety and security reasons. Nevertheless, the extensive fleet, unmatched management expertise, professional driver network, international permits, and infrastructure have all been maintained and remain fully ready for reactivation.
Dayeh Logistics continues to hold full international transit licenses (TIR, CMR, and approvals from the Iranian and Iraqi oil ministries) and remains active today in the transportation of fuel, cement, and heavy goods between Iran, Iraq, and neighboring countries.
With relative stability returning to the region, Holding Dayeh has drawn up a comprehensive plan to revive and expand this division, aiming once again to establish itself as the leading road transit operator for energy and bulk commodities in West Asia.
